The Dassault Falcon 2000LX was designed as an extended-range variant of the successful Falcon 2000EX. The addition of Aviation Partners blended winglets yields a 200-mile range increase over the original EX series aircraft. Around nine percent of the total Falcon 2000LX fleet is represented as being for sale. The market has recently seen a surge of activity, as evidenced by the number of aircraft currently under contract/deal pending. Ninety percent of the Falcon 2000LXs represented for sale are currently under contract/deal pending. Asking prices ranging from a low of $11.9M to $18.9M on the high end of the market.
Thirteen Falcon 2000LXs have sold year to date, with the majority enrolled on the Pratt & Whitney ESP engine program at the time of sale. EASy II is a Falcon avionics innovation designed to improve situational awareness for flight crews, and reduce pilot workload. EASy II “baseline” is an upgrade that serves as a critical pre-requisite for upcoming nav compliance; ADS-B Out, CPDLC, and FANS 1/A+. The EASy II “baseline” upgrade is comprised of both a hardware and software component, and most Falcon 2000LXs sold year to date had either an EASy II cockpit or EASy II “baseline” upgrade at the time of sale.
